Contributors included musicians The Books, Cul De Sac and Roger Miller; animators Handcranked Films, VJ Dziga and Jody Lee; archivist Rich Remsberg; installation artist Brian McGregor; craft brewers Pretty Things, Mayflower and CBC and a captivating troupe of servers inspired by the Cigarette Girl era.   mission

SPLIT / SIGNAL is a production entity that finds new ways to explore and embrace the intersections of art, entertainment, commerce and community.

We aim to design and curate custom, multifaceted programs that result in a heightened communal awareness, showcasing not only the talents of the artists, entertainers, and purveyors, but also the importance of audience-interaction in the artistic process.

We endeavor to draw upon the community at large, for its various strengths, and the efforts of many, to demonstrate our belief that the whole can be greater than the sum of its parts.

We celebrate variety as a singular ideal. Exactly how everything comes together as a whole, however, is distinctively Split / Signal.
